Joe boarded a plane that morning headed from Boise to Portland. When they landed he said there was the strangest feeling about, no hustle and bustle that their usually was in an airport. As he looked around he witnessed everyone in the airport looking up at the television screens. It was then that he learned of the horrific events of that morning.
Danny was informed of the attacks on america while in the MTC. As a missionary he represented Christ and not a nation, but that day the pride of america was among many fellow missionaries serving with him. He has yet to see footage of that day, where his friends and family watched replay after replay, but still his life was changed as much as theirs from this days events.
Amber remembers being in seminary class when she learned of the traumatic events. She knows not everyone agrees with her but express that it was about time we were humbled and put in our place for sticking our foot into everyone's business around the world.
